استقبل المهندس أحمد رشاد “رئيس جهاز تنمية مدينة العبور” الدكتور شريف مصطفى كمال “مساعد وزير الصحة للمشروعات القومية” لمتابعة الموقف التنفيذي لمشروع “مستشفى العبور “، ذلك المشروع القومي الذي يتوسط خط (١٠) بالتبة الفاصلة بين الحي الثالث والثامن، ليشكل عند اكتماله أكبر وأحدث صرح طبي متكامل على أرض المدينة مؤكدا أن تلك الخطوه تفتح أبواب المستقبل الطبى وتعكس حجم الاهتمام بتعزيز البنية الصحية بمدينة

واشار المهندس أحمد رشاد ، أن المستشفى يقام على مساحة ١٧ ألف متر ، وبتكلفة تصل إلى (٥٢٥) مليون جنيه، بطاقة استيعابية (١٨٩)سريراً، لجميع التخصصات للحالات المرضية ومنها
(١٢٢) سرير إقامة مرضى و(٢٧) سرير عناية مركزة و(٢٠) ماكينة غسيل كلوي و (٢٠) حضانة للأطفال كما يضم المستشفى (٥) غرف عمليات متطورة، قسماً للمناظير، مركزاً لرعاية وجراحة القلب، معملاً متكاملاً، بنك دم، قسم طوارئ وإنعاش، إضافةً إلى عيادات خارجية تغطي جميع التخصصات بما فيها الأسنان والعلاج الطبيعي، فضلاً عن قسم أشعة متكامل يشمل الأشعة السينية والمقطعية والرنين المغناطيسي والموجات فوق الصوتية.

واكد المهندس أحمد رشاد بالمتابعة الدقيقة مع المهندس علاء حماد “نائب رئيس الجهاز” ومديري الإدارات المعنية للمشروع بأن التنفيذات على أرض الواقع، متواصلة بأعمال التشطيبات على قدم وساق، وتشمل تجهيز الموقع العام والأسوار والبوابات، وتركيب الأرضيات، وتجهيز غرف العمليات، والأسقف المعلقة، وتركيب أنظمة التكييف المركزي، وتنسيق الموقع العام، وتركيب البردورات والانترلوك للارصفه وتركيب البلاطات الجبسيه في مختلف الادوار واعمال الدهانات الداخلية، وتركيب الوميتال الشبابيك، وتركيبات الأبواب الخشبيه، وتركيبات وتوصيلات الاجهزة الصحيه وتركيبات ميكانيكيه وسحب كابلات رئيسيه في السطح والدهانات الخارجيه للمباني الخدميه، وتركيب اعمده الاناره الديكورية الموفرة للطاقة بموقع المستشفي وتركيب بازلت المنحدرات.
وأضاف “رئيس الجهاز ” أن المشروع يتجاوز حدود كونه مجرد مستشفى، بل هو قلعة طبية متكاملة، ستضيف بُعداً جديداً للخدمات الصحية بمدينة العبور، وتخدم مدناً مجاورة لتصبح العبور بحق مركزاً حضارياً متكاملاً في الرعاية الطبية الحديثة تليق بالمواطن العبورى.
Ahmed Rashad, Head of Obour City Development Authority, Meets Assistant Minister of Health to Review Progress of Obour Hospital Project
Eng. Ahmed Rashad, Head of the Obour City Development Authority, received Dr. Sherif Mostafa Kamal, Assistant Minister of Health for National Projects, to follow up on the implementation progress of the Obour Hospital Project. This landmark national medical facility, located on Plot (10) in the buffer zone between the Third and Eighth Districts, is set to become the largest and most advanced integrated medical complex in the city. The project reflects the government’s strong commitment to strengthening the healthcare infrastructure in Obour City and providing citizens with world-class medical services.
Rashad explained that the hospital is being built on an area of 17,000 square meters, with an investment of EGP 525 million. It will have a total capacity of 189 beds, covering all medical specialties. These include 122 inpatient beds, 27 intensive care unit (ICU) beds, 20 dialysis units, and 20 neonatal incubators. The facility will also feature five state-of-the-art operating theaters, an endoscopy department, a cardiology and cardiac surgery center, a fully equipped laboratory, a blood bank, and an emergency and resuscitation department. In addition, the hospital will house specialized outpatient clinics in all fields, including dentistry and physiotherapy, along with a comprehensive radiology department offering X-ray, CT scan, MRI, and ultrasound services.
The Head of the Authority confirmed that he, along with Eng. Alaa Hamad, Deputy Head of the Authority, and the project management team, is closely monitoring construction progress. On-site works are advancing rapidly, particularly in the finishing phase. Current activities include site preparation, boundary walls and gates, flooring installations, operating room fit-outs, suspended ceilings, central air-conditioning systems, site landscaping, curb stone and interlock paving, installation of gypsum tiles, interior painting, aluminum window frames, wooden doors, sanitary fixtures, mechanical installations, rooftop main cable networks, exterior painting of service buildings, decorative energy-saving lighting poles, and basalt ramps at the hospital site.
Rashad emphasized that this project is more than just a hospital—it is a fully integrated medical hub that will elevate healthcare services in Obour City and neighboring areas. Once operational, it will position Obour as a modern healthcare destination, offering citizens high-quality medical care in line with international standards.
