قام وليد جمال الدين، رئيس الهيئة العامة للمنطقة الاقتصادية لقناة السويس، صباح اليوم، بمقر الهيئة بالعاصمة الإدارية، بتوقيع عقد إنشاء مشروع “نيل أورميه المحدودة-Nil Örme San. ve Tic. A.Ş” التركي لصناعة المنسوجات والملابس، بمنطقة القنطرة غرب الصناعية التابعة للهيئة؛ حيث تصل التكلفة الاستثمارية للمشروع إلى 35 مليون دولار (تعادل نحو مليار و750 مليون جنيه)، وتقدر مساحة المشروع الإجمالية بـ 33 ألف م2 تقريبًا، فيما يتيح المشروع نحو 2000 فرصة عمل مباشرة، ويستهدف المشروع تصدير 90% من الإنتاج للخارج،
هذا وقد قام بتوقيع العقد والى فاتح أوزيرسوى- Veli Fatih Özersoy، رئيس شركة نيل أورميه، بحضور عدد من القيادات التنفيذية للهيئة، وممثلي الشركة.
جمال الدين: 34 مشروعًا حتى الآن بالقنطرة غرب باستثمارات إجمالية 844,3 مليون دولار وتتيح 47 ألف فرصة عمل مباشرة
وعلى هامش مراسم توقيع العقد، أكد وليد جمال الدين، أن منطقة القنطرة غرب الصناعية التابعة لاقتصادية قناة السويس تُعد مركزًا إقليميًّا متكاملًا لصناعة المنسوجات والملابس الجاهزة وإكسسواراتها حيث بلغ عدد العقود الفعلية الموقعة بها حتى الآن 34 مشروعًا باستثمارات إجمالية بلغت 859,3 مليون دولار، فيما تصل المساحة الإجمالية لهذه المشروعات إلى 2,180,400 متر مربع، وتتيح ما يزيد عن 48 ألف فرصة عمل مباشرة،
وأشار إلى أن هذه المشروعات تستهدف تصدير الجانب الأكبر من إنتاجها للأسواق العالمية، في ضوء اتفاقيات التجارة الدولية FTAs، والموقع الفريد للهيئة؛ بوصفها حلقة الوصل بين مختلف قارات العالم، لافتًا إلى الدور الفاعل الذي يلعبه التكامل بين المناطق الصناعية والمواني التابعة للهيئة، الذي يبرهن على نجاح النهج الاستراتيجي للهيئة في تعزيز الصناعات التصديرية، وتعميق منظومة التصنيع المحلي، إلى جانب توطين سلاسل الإمداد في قطاع الغزل والنسيج، انطلاقًا من تصنيع المواد الخام، وصولًا لتصنيع مختلف أنواع الأقمشة والملابس الجاهزة لكبرى العلامات التجارية العالمية.
كما أوضح رئيس اقتصادية قناة السويس أن توافر العمالة الفنية المدربة ومصادر الطاقة المتنوعة بمقابل تنافسي يمثلان حوافز استثمارية تضاف إلى المزايا التنافسية للهيئة خاصة بمنطقة القنطرة غرب، فضلًا عن جاهزية البنية التحتية ذات المواصفات العالمية، مؤكدًا أن الهيئة تواصل تكثيف جهودها خلال المرحلة الراهنة لجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات في القطاعات المستهدف توطينها باستراتيجية الهيئة، بما يحقق أهداف الدولة في تعميق الصناعة وتعزيز الصادرات، مشيرًا إلى قرب افتتاح عدد من المشروعات بمنطقة القنطرة غرب سواءً على صعيد المصانع أو مشروعات البنية التحتية والمرافق، كما أعلن رئيس اقتصادية قناة السويس اعتزام الهيئة القيام بأول جولة ترويجية لتركيا نهاية سبتمبر المقبل لجذب المزيد من الاستثمارات في القطاعات المستهدفة.
$35 Million Investment… Head of Suez Canal Economic Zone Signs Contract for Turkish “Nil Örme” Textile and Garment Factory in Qantara West
Walid Gamal El-Din, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), signed today at the Authority’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, a contract for the establishment of the Turkish project Nil Örme San. ve Tic. A.Ş, specialized in textiles and garments, in the Qantara West Industrial Zone, affiliated with the SCZone.
The project involves a total investment of $35 million (around EGP 1.75 billion), covering an overall area of 33,000 m², and is expected to provide around 2,000 direct job opportunities. Approximately 90% of the production will be exported to global markets.
The contract was signed by Veli Fatih Özersoy, Chairman of Nil Örme, in the presence of several executive leaders of the Authority and company representatives.
Gamal El-Din: 34 Projects in Qantara West Worth $859.3 Million Providing 48,000 Direct Jobs
On the sidelines of the signing ceremony, Walid Gamal El-Din confirmed that the Qantara West Industrial Zone under the SCZone has become a regional hub for the integrated textile and garment industry, including accessories. To date, a total of 34 projects have been signed in the zone, with combined investments reaching $859.3 million, covering a total area of 2,180,400 m², and generating more than 48,000 direct job opportunities.
He highlighted that most of these projects target export markets, leveraging Egypt’s Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and the unique geographic location of the SCZone, which connects multiple continents. He also emphasized the strategic integration between the industrial zones and SCZone ports, which reinforces the Authority’s success in promoting export-oriented industries, strengthening local manufacturing, and localizing supply chains in the textile and garment sector—from raw material production to finished apparel for leading global brands.
The Chairman also underlined that the availability of skilled labor and diverse energy sources at competitive rates are among the main investment incentives in Qantara West. In addition, the world-class infrastructure enhances the attractiveness of the region for investors.
Gamal El-Din affirmed that the SCZone continues to intensify efforts to attract more investments in targeted sectors in line with its strategy to deepen industrialization and boost exports. He further announced that a number of new projects—factories and infrastructure facilities—will soon be inaugurated in Qantara West. Moreover, he revealed that the SCZone will conduct its first promotional tour in Turkey at the end of September to attract further investments in its strategic sectors.
