استقبل الدكتور عبد العزيز الشريف، وكيل وزارة الاستثمار والتجارة الخارجية ورئيس جهاز التمثيل التجاري المصري، الدكتور يسري الشرقاوي، رئيس جمعية رجال الأعمال المصريين الأفارقة، ووفدًا من أعضاء الجمعية، وبحضور ومشاركة رؤساء مكاتب التمثيل التجاري المصري في دول القارة الأفريقية من خلال خاصية الفيديو كونفرانس، وبحضور الوزير المفوض التجاري راجي نبيل، نائب مدير إدارة شئون الدول الافريقية ، والمستشار التجاري كريم حمدي بإدارة شئون الدول الافريقية بالتمثيل التجاري.
الشريف: التبادل التجاري المصري الأفريقي على رأس أولوياتنا
وفي بداية كلمته، أكد الدكتور عبد العزيز الشريف حرص الجهاز على التواصل الدائم مع مجتمع المال والأعمال المصري، وما قدمته جمعية رجال الأعمال المصريين الأفارقة من جهود في الملف الأفريقي، في تعاون وتنسيق مشترك يجعلنا دومًا نتطلع إلى مزيد من التعاون، ونعمل سويًا جاهدين لتحقيق توجهات الدولة المصرية والمسهدفات الرقمية التي تضعها الدولة لزيادة الصادرات المصرية إلى دول القارة الأفريقية.
وأكد الشريف على أن الجهاز يعمل مع كافة المكاتب التجارية المصرية بالخارج ويقوم بالتنسيق مع وزارة الخارجية وسفاراتها بالخارج في الدول الافريقية التي لا يوجد بها مكاتب تجارية بالشكل الذي يساعد ويساهم في تحقيق المطلوب، ويحرص على استقبال كافة مقترحات وطلبات ومرئيات القطاع الخاص المصري، لما لذلك من أثر بالغ في تحقيق الاستراتيجية التجارية المصرية التي تبنتها ورسمتها سياسات وزارة الاستثمار والتجارة الخارجية بشأن زيادة الصادرات المصرية إلى دول القارة.
الشرقاوي: حريصون على التنسيق الدائم مع الشريك الاستراتيجي الأول في العمل الأفريقي
ومن جانبه، أكد الدكتور يسري الشرقاوي على أهمية أن يتفهم مجتمع المال والأعمال دور رجال التمثيل التجاري، ويتفهم كل شريك استراتيجي الدور الذي يؤديه، حتى نعمل معًا في منظومة متنامية من أجل الصالح العام ومستهدفات الوطن الاقتصادية، وهي ذات الأهداف التي يستهدفها مجتمع القطاع الخاص. مشيرًا إلى حرص الجمعية الدائم على التنسيق بشفافية مع الشريك الاستراتيجي الأول لنا، وهو جهاز التمثيل التجاري المصري، معربًا عن تقديره لجهود المنظومة الخاصة بعمل التمثيل التجاري في السنوات الأخيرة، وراغبًا في زيادة الوعي التسويقي ومفاهيم ومتطلبات التجارة الدولية لدى مجتمع المال والأعمال المصري للتغلب على التحديات غير التقليدية في اختراق الأسواق الأفريقية.
استمع الحضور إلي المكاتب الخارجية داخل القارة الأفريقية، وتم التعرف على كافة المعلومات التجارية والرد على أسئلة أعضاء الجمعية، مع الاتفاق على بعض النقاط والمحددات المشتركة في بعض الأعمال والأنشطة والفعاليات، من خلال خطة عمل مشتركة بين الجمعية وإدارة أفريقيا بالجهاز.
شارك من الجمعية في قطاع الطاقة المهندس حسين الغزاوي، رئيس لجنة الطاقة في الجمعية، و المهندس أحمد سمير العدل، عضو مجلس إدارة الجمعية وممثل قطاع التجارة الخارجية، والدكتور محمد أنور، عضو الجمعية قطاع التجارة والصناعة، والدكتورة دعاء عبد الهادي، قطاع مؤتمرات البنية التحتية، والمهندسة محمود متولي، قطاع تقنية المعلومات، والمهندس شريف سليمان، قطاع التصدير.
Head of the Commercial Representation Authority Discusses Boosting Egyptian Exports to Africa with Business Leaders
Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sherif, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade and Head of the Egyptian Commercial Representation Authority, received Dr. Yousry El-Sharkawy, President of the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association, along with a delegation of association members. The meeting was attended by the heads of Egypt’s commercial representation offices across African countries via video conference, as well as Minister Plenipotentiary for Commercial Affairs Ragy Nabil, Deputy Director of the African Affairs Department, and Commercial Counselor Karim Hamdy from the same department.
El-Sherif: Egyptian-African trade exchange is a top priority
In his opening remarks, Dr. Abdel Aziz El-Sherif stressed the Authority’s commitment to maintaining continuous communication with Egypt’s business community and praised the efforts of the Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association in advancing the African agenda. He highlighted the spirit of cooperation and coordination between both sides, emphasizing their shared ambition to further collaboration and jointly work to achieve the Egyptian government’s directives and quantitative targets for increasing Egyptian exports to African markets.
El-Sherif pointed out that the Authority works closely with all Egyptian commercial offices abroad and coordinates with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its embassies in African countries where there are no commercial offices. This approach ensures effective support toward achieving set objectives. He also reaffirmed the Authority’s willingness to receive all proposals, requests, and perspectives from Egypt’s private sector, recognizing the significant impact such input has in realizing the country’s commercial strategy as outlined by the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade to expand Egyptian exports to the African continent.
El-Sharkawy: Committed to constant coordination with our primary strategic partner in African affairs
For his part, Dr. Yousry El-Sharkawy underscored the importance of the business community understanding the role of commercial representation officers, and for every strategic partner to appreciate the specific function they serve. He stressed the need for all stakeholders to work together in a growing ecosystem that serves the public interest and the nation’s economic objectives, which are the same goals pursued by the private sector.
El-Sharkawy expressed the Association’s constant commitment to transparent coordination with its primary strategic partner—the Egyptian Commercial Representation Authority—and praised the Authority’s performance in recent years. He also voiced his desire to enhance marketing awareness and deepen understanding of international trade requirements within Egypt’s business community in order to overcome unconventional challenges in penetrating African markets.
Attendees listened to updates from Egypt’s external offices within Africa, received comprehensive trade information, and had their questions addressed. The meeting concluded with agreement on several shared points, parameters, and action plans for joint projects, activities, and events between the Association and the Authority’s Africa Department.
Participants from the Association included: Eng. Hussein El-Ghazawy, Chairman of the Energy Committee; Eng. Ahmed Samir El-Adl, Board Member representing the foreign trade sector; Dr. Mohamed Anwar, member representing the trade and industry sector; Dr. Doaa Abdel Hady, representing the infrastructure conferences sector; Eng. Mahmoud Metwally, representing the IT sector; and Eng. Sherif Soliman, representing the export sector.
