التقي الدكتور محمد خلف الله رئيس جهاز القري السياحية، قداسة البابا تواضروس الثانى، بابا الإسكندرية وبطريرك الكرازة المرقسية، فى مستهل زيارته المباركة لترأس صلوات القداس الإلهى من كنيسة السيدة العذراء مريم والقديسة مارينا بالعلمين.
أوضح رئيس الجهاز، أن لقاء قداسته، شهد حضور أصحاب النيافة الأنبا باڤلي الأسقف العام لكنائس قطاع المنتزه،والأنبا هرمينا الأسقف العام لكنائس شرق الإسكندرية، والانبا كاراس أسقف مطروح والخمس مدن الغربية، والقمص أبرآم إميل وكيل عام البطريركية بالإسكندرية، والقس ماركوس ميخائيل كاهن كنيسة السيدة العذراء مريم والقديسة مارينا بالعلمين، وعددا من أساقفة الكنيسة والشعب المسيحى والشمامسة، والمهندس مينا رأفت نائب رئيس الجهاز، وبعض من رجال الأعمال.
أعرب رئيس الجهاز، عن سعادته بلقاء قداسة البابا تواضروس، والتى تأتى فى ضوء جهود ترسيخ السلام وتدعيم أواصر المحبة بين أبناء الوطن، ودعم قداسته للجهود المبذولة فى تقديم كافة الخدمات الضرورية اللازمة لجودة الحياة بمنطقة الساحل والإسكندرية ومطروح، وجعلها وجهة حضارية للسياحة العالمية والدينية، تتناسب مع أعمال التطوير بالمنطقة.
Head of the Tourist Villages Authority Meets His Holiness Pope Tawadros at the Start of His Visit to Alamein
Dr. Mohamed Khalafallah, Head of the Tourist Villages Authority, met with His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, at the beginning of his blessed visit to lead the Divine Liturgy prayers at the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Marina in Alamein.
The meeting was attended by Anba Pavly, General Bishop of Montazah Churches; Anba Hermina, General Bishop of East Alexandria Churches; Anba Karas, Bishop of Matrouh and the Five Western Cities; Archpriest Abram Emil, General Vicar of the Patriarchate in Alexandria; and Fr. Marcos Mikhail, priest of the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Marina in Alamein. Also present were several bishops of the Church, members of the Christian congregation and deacons, Eng. Mina Raafat, Deputy Head of the Authority, as well as a number of businessmen.
Dr. Khalafallah expressed his great joy in meeting His Holiness Pope Tawadros, noting that the visit comes within the framework of efforts to strengthen peace and foster bonds of love among the people of the nation. He highlighted the Pope’s support for the ongoing efforts to provide all necessary services that ensure a high quality of life in the North Coast, Alexandria, and Matrouh regions, transforming them into a civilized global and religious tourism destination that reflects the scale of ongoing development in the area.
