
Housing Minister Announces 11th Public Lottery for Citizens in Al-Rabia, El Shorouk, Next Tuesday
Cairo – Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the 11th public lottery for citizens who have finalized their legal status and paid the required down payments for specific land plots in the Al-Rabia area of El Shorouk City will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at the headquarters of the El Shorouk City Authority.
The Minister stressed the importance of continuing efforts to complete the legalization of citizens and entities located on lands recently added to several new cities. He also emphasized the need for proper land-use planning in these areas to ensure the creation of integrated urban communities that meet the needs of residents.
Details of the 11th Public Lottery in El Shorouk
Eng. Bassam Mohamed, Head of the El Shorouk City Development Authority, explained that the manual lottery will cover citizens who have paid the down payments for the legalized land plots. The allocated land sizes include 209 sqm, 276 sqm, 400 sqm, 500 sqm, 600 sqm, and 700 sqm, all within the Al-Rabia district.
He added that citizens are required to attend the lottery in person on the specified date, with attendance registration starting at 10:00 a.m. at the authority’s headquarters. Entry gates will be closed at 12:00 p.m., after which the public lottery will begin.
Only individuals who provide valid identification documents and the original payment receipt will be permitted to attend and participate in the lottery session.
