شارك اتحاد المقاولين بالدول الإسلامية، ممثلاً بالمدير التنفيذي الدكتور مالك دنقلا، في فعاليات منتدى “استثمر في الاقتصاد الرقمي”، الذي نظمته الغرفة الإسلامية للتجارة والتنمية بالتعاون مع غرفة تجارة الأردن ووزارة الاقتصاد الرقمي والريادة، بالعاصمة الأردنية عمان، يوم الاثنين 22 سبتمبر 2025، تحت شعار: “التحول الرقمي من أجل اقتصاد رقمي مستدام”، وبرعاية ملكية سامية.
وفي كلمته الافتتاحية، أكد العين خليل الحاج توفيق، رئيس غرفة تجارة الأردن، أهمية المنتدى في تعزيز التعاون المشترك بين الدول الإسلامية بمجال الاقتصاد الرقمي، مشيراً إلى أن هذا القطاع يمثل ركيزة أساسية لتحقيق النمو المستدام.
وتضمن المنتدى عقد جلسات نقاشية موسعة، بمشاركة خبراء ووزراء من مختلف الدول الإسلامية، تناولت عدة محاور رئيسية من أبرزها: دور القطاع العام في دعم التحول الرقمي، والأمن السيبراني والذكاء الاصطناعي كدعائم للتحول الرقمي، وحماية البنية التحتية الرقمية، إضافة إلى التكنولوجيا المالية والشمول المالي، والتعهيد والتعليم الرقمي وبناء القدرات المستقبلية، ودور الجامعات في إعداد الكوادر المؤهلة.
وعلى هامش الفعاليات، عقد الدكتور مالك دنقلا اجتماعاً مع الأمين العام للغرفة الإسلامية للتجارة والتنمية، السيد يوسف حسن خلاوي، حيث ناقشا سبل تعزيز التعاون المشترك، وبحثا إمكانية توقيع اتفاقية تعاون بين الغرفة والاتحاد لدعم مشاريع البنية التحتية الرقمية وتطوير آليات التنسيق في هذا المجال الحيوي.
وأكد دنقلا أن مشاركة الاتحاد في المنتدى تأتي في إطار حرصه على الانخراط الفاعل في المبادرات الاقتصادية التي تدعم التحول الرقمي وتواكب المتغيرات العالمية، بما ينعكس إيجاباً على مسيرة التنمية في الدول الإسلامية.
وأضاف أن التوجه نحو الاقتصاد الرقمي يفتح آفاقاً جديدة أمام قطاع المقاولات في الدول الإسلامية، حيث يتيح دمج التكنولوجيا في عمليات البناء والتشييد وإدارة المشروعات، ما يسهم في تحسين الكفاءة وتقليل التكاليف وتعزيز الشفافية. كما أن التعاون مع مؤسسات التمويل والتنمية الرقمية سيمكن شركات المقاولات من الاستفادة من الحلول التكنولوجية في تطوير البنية التحتية الذكية، بما يعزز تنافسية الاقتصادات الإسلامية. وأكد أن الاتحاد يعمل على صياغة مبادرات استراتيجية لدعم الشركات الأعضاء في تبني التحول الرقمي، لتمكينها من مواكبة المستقبل وتلبية احتياجات التنمية العمرانية المتسارعة في المنطقة.
Islamic Countries Contractors Union Participates in the “Invest in Digital Economy” Forum in Amman
The Islamic Countries Contractors Union (ICCU), represented by its CEO Dr. Malik Dengla, took part in the “Invest in Digital Economy” Forum, organized by the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development in collaboration with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship. The event was held in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on Monday, September 22, 2025, under the theme “Digital Transformation for a Sustainable Digital Economy” and under Royal Patronage.
In his opening remarks, Senator Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq, President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the significance of the forum in strengthening cooperation among Islamic countries in the field of digital economy, highlighting its role as a cornerstone for achieving sustainable growth.
The forum featured a series of in-depth panel discussions with the participation of ministers and experts from across the Islamic world. Key topics addressed included: the role of the public sector in supporting digital transformation, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence as pillars of digitalization, safeguarding digital infrastructure, the role of fintech in advancing financial inclusion, outsourcing and digital education for future capacity building, as well as the role of universities in preparing qualified talent.
On the sidelines of the forum, Dr. Malik Dengla met with Mr. Yousef Hassan Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and explore the signing of a cooperation agreement aimed at supporting digital infrastructure projects and improving coordination in this critical field.
Dr. Dengla stressed that ICCU’s participation reflects its commitment to actively engaging in economic initiatives that support digital transformation and align with global developments, thereby contributing positively to the development journey of Islamic countries.
He further noted that embracing the digital economy opens new horizons for the construction and contracting sector within member states. Integrating technology into construction, project management, and infrastructure development will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and promote transparency. Moreover, partnerships with digital development and financing institutions will enable contractors to leverage smart infrastructure solutions, boosting the competitiveness of Islamic economies.
Dr. Dengla concluded by reaffirming that the Union is working on strategic initiatives to help its member companies adopt digital transformation, empowering them to keep pace with future demands and meet the rapid urban development needs of the region.
